From Granna's Heart to Yours

Throughout my life, one thing has remained constant: my passion for caring for others and making a difference in their lives.

As a registered nurse with a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), I've dedicated much of my career to caring for patients, educating future nurses, and mentoring healthcare professionals. Nursing taught me that caring goes beyond physical needs. It's about listening, encouraging, teaching, and building meaningful relationships.

After retiring from full-time nursing education, my passion for connecting with others continued through Middle-Class Matters, a podcast I co-host with my daughter, Brooke. Together, we share real-life stories, heartfelt conversations, and lessons that inspire and encourage others.

Now, as a children's book author, I'm carrying that same passion into The Adventures of Frank & Faye, sharing stories that entertain young readers while teaching valuable life lessons.

From the bedside to the classroom, behind a podcast microphone, and now to the pages of a children's book, my purpose has remained the same: caring, teaching, and connecting with others.

While I am grateful for my accomplishments and the many roles I've been blessed to hold, no title has brought me greater joy or meant more to my heart than Granna.
